The Makamou (魔化魍, Makamō) are monstrous creatures that usually dwell in the rural areas and consumed human beings as food.
In contrast to the humanoid monsters in other Kamen Rider Series, most of the Makamou were usually gigantic monsters that should belong in the kaiju genre.
These monsters have some designs (some liberal) and names being based on the Yōkai from Japanese folklores.
