strangeness! Bee Woman (怪異!蜂女, Kaii! Hachi Onna), is the eighth episode of the original Kamen Rider series. It is the first episode in the Kamen Rider Series to feature a female monster.
Synopsis[]
Takeshi begins an investigation into the series of incidents where people who had glasses made at Kagemura's Optometry store have gone missing. However, even Ruriko gets some lure glasses, and she disappears as well.
Plot[]
A parent calls his daughter Sachiko to dinner, she steps on her father's glasses breaking them. The pair goes to Kagemura Optician Store to buy new ones, the parent received a signal from Wasp Woman by the glass's receiver.
When he started acting strange Sachiko went to a nearby man to ask for help, Takeshi was that man. Takeshi forced the man to the ground; he said his glasses were controlling him.
The man escapes and Takeshi comforts Sachiko, the man travel to an underground complex where he sighted Wasp Woman. Three days past without news of Sachiko's father.
In the past two-month 42 people went missing and had one thing in common, they all bought glasses from the Kagemura Optician Store. Ruriko volunteered to scope the Kagemura Optician Store out.
Takeshi begins running test of soundwaves that would affect mammal's, he gets a call from Ruriko after her visit to the Kagemura Optician Store, the call gets interrupted as Ruriko is getting taken over by her new glasses.
Takeshi travels to Ruriko apartment and found it empty, he learned from the clues on how Shocker was able to control people. He fallowed the store owner of Kagemura Optician to a condemned building.
Wasp Woman has been abducting people to work in her gas factory. Those who are too weak to work are killed, the exceptional workers are modified to become Shocker Combatmen.
Takeshi managed to infiltrate Shocker's base under the condemned building, but he was caught. Ruriko was used as a hostage to force Takeshi into being stung by Wasp Woman's rapier.
When Takeshi awoke, he was bound is chains. Escaped from his bonds Takeshi freed the abducted people, he fought against Wasp Woman and escaped with Sachiko's father and Ruriko.
Sachiko's father is returned home, but with entirely no memory. Back at Shockers base Wasp Woman executed a Combatman for the escape of Takeshi and the abducted people.
Ruriko under the control of Wasp Woman tries to kill Takeshi and Tobee but fails, Takeshi fallows the signal used to control Ruriko to find Wasp Woman. Takeshi becomes Kamen rider and defeats Wasp Women with his Rider Kick.

- Wasp Woman would later appear as part of the revived monster army seen in episode 13. Years later, a new incarnation of Wasp Woman portrayed by Nao Oikawa would appear as part of Super Shocker in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider W & Decade: Movie War 2010.
