This article is about a/an monster in Kamen Rider Ghost.

Gamma A (眼魔 A Ganma Ē) is a Gamma appearing only in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Ghost & Drive: Super Movie War Genesis. Like Jabel, he is also a Gamma Superior. However, the icon on his breastplate is slightly different from Jabel's in order to differentiate the two.

Character History

He starts a robbery at a jewel shop and steals Takeru's Musashi Eyecon. After Takeru transforms into Ghost, Gamma A dodges Ghosts attacks making Ghost destroy some property of the Daitenku Temple. It causes Go to mistake him for a threat and transform into Mach and attack him. Makoto, as Specter, joins Ghost in fighting Mach. Then Shinnosuke joins the Rider battle as Deadheat Drive. When they finally see Gamma A, they quickly destroy him with a Quintuple Rider Kick. After that, Ghost reclaims his Musashi Eyecon. Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Ghost & Drive: Super Movie War Genesis

Behind the scenes

Gamma A is voiced by Yasuhiro Takato (高戸 靖広 Takato Yasuhiro), who previously voiced the Smilodon Dopant in Kamen Rider W.[1]

  • Gamma A is the only Gamma Superior not shown to assume a human form.
  • Gamma A's exclusive appearance in Super Movie War Genesis marks the first appearance of the Gamma Superior form. Though Jabel was introduced in the episode preceeding the premiere of Super Movie War Genesis, he was not shown to assume his Gamma Superior form until the next episode.
  • Gamma A's situation mirrors Xibalba from Kamen Rider Ghost: Legendary! Riders' Souls! in that both are Gamma who are not shown to adopt human forms and appear exclusively in spin-off material outside the Ghost series, yet are the first seen examples of an advanced Gamma form which is later shown to be used in the series by Gamma characters with human forms. Gamma A being the first known example of the Gamma Superior form which is later assumed by Jabel (and then Igor), while Xibalba is the first known example of the Gamma Ultima form which is later assumed by Adel.
  • His suit was reused for an unnamed Gamma Superior which appeared in Conspiracy! Adel's Trap!
