Glassy Happiness (ガラスの幸福, Garasu no Kōfuku?^?) is the forty-fourth episode of Kamen Rider Ryuki.

SynopsisEdit

• Yui returns to the Normal World and doesn't remember anything.
• Mitsuru becomes the head of his father company and tries to pay others to be his allies.
• There is a public backlash against the ORE Journal after they publish the photos of the Mirror Monsters.
• Tojo, after becoming Mitsuru's Friend back-stabs him allowing Asakura to easily kill Mitsuru.

PlotEdit

In Mirror World, Shiro tells Yui to return to the real World as the Monsters begin to fight eachother. Yui tells Shiro that she will stay in Mirror World before fainting soon after. Shinji , who is still looking for Yui finally finds her on one of the forest roads.

Mitsuru, after learning his father is dead, goes outside for a few minutes. Tojo gets up, makes the room dark and smashes a mirror in Mitsuru's apartment.

Shinji wakes Yui up and Yui appears to not remember what has happened. Shinji tells her that a Mirror Monster attacked her but doesn't tell her anything about her controlling them. They return to the Cafe and Shinji and Ren talk about whether or not to tell her the truth. Shinji wants to, but Ren doesn't want to agitate her further. They are interrupted by an annoyed Grandmother who closes the cafe down because none of them help her.

Mitsuru goes to a high-rise in the middle of the city and learns that his father, the head of a company has handed the reigns down to him. The three men with him explain to him that now that he has experienced the stormy seas of society, he can become the owner of the company. Mitsuru tries to pull out but the men offer to train him so he accepts.

Meanwhile, at the ORE Journal, following the publication of the picture with Mirror Monsters in it. They are overrun with phone calls. However none of them actually provide any extra information about the Monsters and are only abuse over the phone for telling lies or unsubscriptions. Megumi & Shimada try to find monsters in a wide range of glass vases and sculptures.

Mitsuru goes out for dinner with the 3 men from the company who plan to make him president as soon as arrangements for his father's funeral have been done.

Back at Mitsuru's house, Tojo is still lying in bed when Mitsuru returns. Mitsuru gives him some food and asks about Tojo philosophy for being a hero. Tojo says that if he becomes a hero, everyone will like him. Tojo questions what he would do if he became a hero before the Rider Battle ended as Tojo would have nothing to fight for anymore.

The next day, Mitsuru comes to the company in quite a role reversal from his previous work. Shiro appears and tells Mitsuru that as he is a Kamen Rider, he has to continue fighting. Mitsuru attempts to give his Deck back to Shiro as he only used it to make a life for himself but Shiro refuses to take it back saying that once someone is a Rider, they will be a Rider until the end. Shiro reminds him of the consequences if he does not wish to fight anymore. Mitsuru takes back his deck.

Back at the Cafe, having given in to her Grandmother's wishes, Yui dresses up. Many customers come in and the four are nearly swept off of their feet by the amount fo people. Mitsuru comes in and attracts the attention of Ren & Shinji. He takes them outside and in another role reversal offers them money to be his allies. Shinji refuses but Ren seems to want the money. Because of Shinji's refusal, Mitsuru goes to Kitaoka's who is more appreciative of the request. Kitaoka agrees to help him. However, after Mitsuru leaves, Kitaoka reveals his true intentions to receive the money but not actually help him by lengthening the amount of time it takes to make a contract with him.

Back at the company, Mitsuru senses something with the lawyer but doesn't worry about it considering he is the only ally he has got as of yet. He returns home to Tojo. He asks Tojo what he thinks of him. Tojo tells him that he is grateful for Mitsuru being so nice to him. Tojo accepts him Mitsuru as a friend.

The next day, two businessmen plan Mitsuru's marriage to another woman. The two go out to coffee and then for a walk. Mitsuru senses a monster which jumps out at the woman with him. He chases the car, transforms and enters Mirror World. Shinji gets attacked by one of Imperer's Monsters and follows him in. Ryuki quickly destroys him with a Final Vent but is attacked by Mitsuru quickly after. Tojo appears and helps Mitsuru but then turns on Mitsuru. He summons Destwilder who drags Mitsuru all over the place.

Tojo impales him telling him that because Mitsuru is important to him, killing him will make him stronger. Shinji tries to stop Tojo while Mitsuru runs off and rolls down a nearby hill weak from the impaling. Down there, he is met by Asakura who destroys his deck with a Final Vent.

It starts raining in both worlds. Mitsuru's Female Friend walks across a bridge. Mitsuru weakly makes his way back to a mirror and tries to catch her attention. He tries to go through the mirror but as he can only go through it in Rider Form, he accidentally smashes it. He continues to try and attract her attention using a portion of the mirror but realising that she can't see him, he gives up and fades away.
