This article is about a/an Rider identity in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid.

Kamen Rider Genm (仮面ライダーゲンム Kamen Raidā Genmu), also colloquially known as the Black Ex-Aid (黒いエグゼイド Kuroi Eguzeido), is the Rider identity primarily assumed by Kuroto Dan.

Levels

As stated in Men, Fly High!, Prototype Gashats have unlimited power, but prolonged usage would eventually destroy the user's body.

Action Gamer Level 1

Action Gamer Level 1

"Gashat! Let's Game! Metcha Game! Mutcha Game! What's your name?! I'm a Kamen Rider!"
―Transformation Announcement[src]
  • Height: 181.0 cm.
  • Weight: 137.0 kg.

Ability Perimeters:

  • Punching power: 7.7 t.
  • Kicking power: 11.5 t.
  • Maximum jump height: 30.5 m.
  • Maximum running speed: 100 m. per 7.6 sec.

Action Gamer Level 1 (アクションゲーマーレベル1 Akushon Gēmā Reberu Wan) is Genm's default super deformed form, activated by inserting the Proto Mighty Action X Gashat into the Gamer Driver. This form is used to battle a Bugster-infected human and is the only way to extract the monster from the host. However, he rarely uses it in combat on screen, always taking a stronger form instead, as separating patients from their Bugster Unions isn't generally a priority of his (save for once).

This form's finisher is the Mighty Critical Strike (マイティクリティカルストライク Maiti Kuritikaru Sutoraiku): Genm covers his right foot in purple energy before leaping into the air, and delivering a kick to the enemy.

Appearances: Ex-Aid Episode 2, 6, "Tricks": Virtual Operations (Genm), Ex-Aid 8, 44

  • Height: 205.0 cm.
  • Weight: 97.0 kg.

Ability Perimeters:

  • Punching power: 5.7 t.
  • Kicking power: 10.2 t.
  • Maximum jump height: 43.1 m.
  • Maximum running speed: 100 m. per 3.2 sec.

Action Gamer Level 2 (アクションゲーマーレベル2 Akushon Gēmā Reberu Tsū) is Genm's primary fighter form, activated by inserting the Proto Mighty Action X Gashat and pulling the lever on the Gamer Driver.

Since he is a pallete swap of Ex-Aid, he shares the same ability parameters with Ex-Aid. However, Genm relies on brute melee attacks and long-range shooting rather than the agility and evasion seen with Ex-Aid.

This form has three finishers:

  • Mighty Critical Strike (マイティクリティカルストライク Maiti Kuritikaru Sutoraiku): Genm performs a series of kicks at the enemy.
  • Ganbarizing Critical Strike (ガンバライジングクリティカルストライク Ganbaraijingu Kuritikaru Sutoraiku): Encircled and imbued with the power of manifestations of the first seventeen Heisei Riders, Genm performs an immensely powerful Rider Kick through the Ganbarizing logo. There is no prelude screen for this Critical Strike.
  • Shakariki Critical Strike (シャカリキクリティカルストライク Shakariki Kuritikaru Sutoraiku, Enthusiastic Critical Strike): This finisher has two variations:
    • With the Sports Gamer (Rider Break): Genm strikes the enemy with the Sports Gamer.
    • Without the Sports Gamer (Rider Kick): Genm strikes the enemy with a flying kick.

Appearances: Ghost Episodes 49, 50, Ex-Aid Episode 2, 4, "Tricks": Virtual Operations (Brave), Ex-Aid 5, "Tricks": Virtual Operations (Lazer, Genm), Ex-Aid 7, 8, "Tricks": Kamen Rider Genm (Legend Rider Stage, Legend Gamer Stage, Final Legend Gamer), Ex-Aid 11

  • Height: 205.0 cm.
  • Weight: 104.4 kg.

Ability Perimeters:

  • Punching power: 10.3 t.
  • Kicking power: 18.4 t.
  • Maximum jump height: 45.3 m.
  • Maximum running speed: 100 m. per 3.0 sec.

Sports Action Gamer Level 3 (スポーツアクションゲーマーレベル3 Supōtsu Akushon Gēma Reberu Surī) is Genm's upgraded form, accessed by inserting the Shakariki Sports Gashat into the Gamer Driver along with the Proto Mighty Action X Gashat and pulling the lever. In this form, the Sports Gamer bike combines with Genm, becoming part of his armor. With this, his chest is covered with the Raid Amplifier and Guard Amplifier, which rewrite the Gain Riser program to dramatically increase his attack and defense powers. He is also equipped with the Trick Flywheels (トリックフライホイール Torikku Furaihoīru) on his shoulders.

All of Genm's stats are raised, placing him above any Riders at Level 2. It was the first instance of Level 3 to be used by a Rider. Genm usually prefer to use this form as it more powerful in combat. However, Upon Ex-Aid gaining the Shakariki Sports Gashat, this form is lost.

This form's finisher is the Shakariki Critical Strike (シャカリキクリティカルストライク Shakariki Kuritikaru Sutoraiku, Enthusiastic Critical Strike): This finisher has two variations.

  • Genm throws a Trick Flywheel at the enemy for a spinning slash.
  • Genm empowers a Trick Flywheel and the Gashacon Bugvisor in Chainsaw Mode and charges towards the enemy to slash at them.

Appearances: Ex-Aid Episodes 4-8, 11

As stated in Men, Fly High!, Prototype Gashats have unlimited power, but prolonged usage would eventually destroy the user's body.

Ability Perimeters:

  • Punching power: 22.0 t.
  • Kicking power: 28.1 t.
  • Maximum jump height: 53.3 m.
  • Maximum running speed: 100 m. per 2.3 sec.

Action Gamer Level 0 (Proto Origin) (アクションゲーマーレベル0 (プロトオリジン) Akushon Gēmā Reberu Zero (Puroto Orijin)) is Genm's prototype fighter form, activated by inserting the Proto Mighty Action X Origin Gashat and pulling the lever on the Gamer Driver.

In this form, Genm's stats are slightly below the stats for Ex-Aid Level X, placing him at a form slightly weaker than Zombie Gamer.

Level 0's special ability is the neutralization of Bugster abilities. In addition to this form being able to nullify certain Bugster abilities such as host possession, Genm can also downgrade the level of a Bugster by touching them. This form also grants Kuroto with a total of 99 lives, such that he is able to provide himself with a Continue whenever he receives a Game Over, presumably until his life count runs out.

Empowered with the Hyper Muteki Gashat when inserted into the Gamer Driver's secondary slot, Genm temporarily activates a Muteki Mode (ムテキモード Muteki Mōdo) which grants the Rider using it 10 seconds of invincibility.

This form has two finishers:

  • Kimewaza Slot Holder finishers:
    • Mighty Critical Strike (マイティクリティカルストライク Maiti Kuritikaru Sutoraiku): Genm performs a series of kicks at the enemy.
  • Gashacon Breaker finishers:
    • Mighty Critical Finish (マイティクリティカルフィニッシュ Maiti Kuritikaru Finisshu)
      • Hammer: Genm delivers a powerful energy smash to the enemy.
      • Blade: Genm delivers a powerful energy slash to the enemy.

Appearances: Ex-Aid Episodes 30, 31, 44, 45, Ex-Aid Trilogy: Another Ending (Genm vs. Lazer)

  • Weight: 115.5 kg

Ability Perimeters:

  • Punching power: 81.9 t
  • Kicking power: 88.8 t
  • Maximum jump height: 66.6 m
  • Maximum running speed: 100m per 1.4 sec.

Zombie Action Gamer Level X-0 (ゾンビアクションゲーマーレベルX-0 Zonbi Akushon Gēmā Reberu Ekkusu Zero) is Genm's upgraded form, accessed by inserting the Dangerous Zombie Gashat into the Gamer Driver along with the Proto Mighty Action X Origin Gashat and pulling the lever. Due to the power of Level 0's nullifying ability, it negates the Dangerous Zombie Gashat's side effects on the Gamer Driver.

In this form, despite having a similar appearance to the Buggle Driver version of Zombie Gamer and only a simple Driver change, its stats are actually much higher, beating the former even in its Level X stats.

However, unlike the original Level X form, this form has a normal functioning Rider Gauge which does not grant Kuroto the power of immortality, presumably due to the reprogramming powers of Maximum Mighty X affecting the immortality of Dangerous Zombie.

Empowered with the Hyper Muteki Gashat when inserted into the Gamer Driver's secondary slot, Genm temporarily activates a Muteki Mode (ムテキモード Muteki Mōdo) which grants the Rider using it 10 seconds of invincibility.

In Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FINAL: Build & Ex-Aid with Legend Riders, Kuroto uses the Kamen Rider Build Gashat in place of the Proto Mighty Action X Origin Gashat to assume Genm Level X-0.

This form's finisher is the Dangerous Critical Strike (デンジャラスクリティカルストライク Denjarasu Kuritikaru Sutoraiku):

Appearances: Ex-Aid Episodes 32, 33, 35, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 45, True Ending, Heisei Generations FINAL: Build & Ex-Aid with Legend Rider

God Maximum Gamer Level 1,000,000,000

  • Height: 256.0 cm
  • Weight: 256.0 kg

Ability Perimeters:[1]

  • Punching power: freely set
  • Kicking power: freely set
  • Maximum jump height: freely set
  • Maximum running speed: freely set

God Maximum Gamer Level 1,000,000,000 (ゴッドマキシマムゲーマーレベルビリオン Goddo Makishimamu Gēmā Reberu Birion, "God Maximum Gamer Level Billion") is Genm's super form accessed by inserting the God Maximum Mighty X Gashat into the Gamer Driver, pulling the lever (causing Genm to transform into Action Gamer if he hasn't already), and then pressing the button on top of the Gashat to combine with the God Maximum Gamer.

This form was created by Kuroto as a dark counterpart to Ex-Aid's Maximum Gamer Level 99, with vastly increased power. In this form, Genm is theoretically the strongest Rider, as he is able to freely set his ability perimeters. This allows him to have enough physical strength to move the moon and use it as a massive weapon.

Due to Genm infecting himself with a strain of Black Parado's virus, he gains abilities which parallel that of the original Genius Gamer, complementing Kuroto's own abilities as a genius game programmer. Thus, in addition to all the abilities of the original Maximum Gamer, Genm can create any game with his thoughts and use the game rules to attack his opponent:

  • Zombie Chronicle: Summons a horde of Zombie Gamers which attack and infect anyone on sight, turning them into a zombified Bugster Virus.
  • Cosmic Chronicle: Channels a giant lens in the sky, while using the refracted solar rays to burn his opponent. He can also summon a shower of meteorites at will.

Additionally, this form is immune to Cronus' Pause ability, previously something only Hyper Muteki could do.

The form's finisher is God Maximum Critical Blessing: Genm powers energy to his right foot, jumps and extends his foot, covered in black and purple energy, and performs a powerful flying kick.

Genm is able to eject from the Maximum Gamer in the form of Action Gamer [2], retaining Level 1000000000 but gaining more agility. Meanwhile, the God Maximum Gamer enters some kind of autopilot state, but the extent of its independent combat capabilities is unknown.

This form was lost when it dissolved after being hit by Lazer/Lazer Level X's Critical Crew-Aid.

This form is exclusive to Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Trilogy: Another Ending Part III: Kamen Rider Genm vs. Lazer.

These Forms are exclusive to Kamen Rider Battle: Ganbarizing.

  • Shoulder Drago Armor: It protects Genm's shoulders and enhances the power of the Dragon Blade and the Dragon Gun with an electromagnetic strengthening device.
  • Mec Drago Guard: It rewrites the Gain Riser program to dramatically increase his attack and defense powers, in addition to rebuilding other damaged parts and increasing their durability.
  • Leg Drago Armor: Transformed from the Dragonknight-Claw, it protects Genm's legs and also incorporates an air injection device that reduces the sensory weight and increases the exercise speed.
  • Wip Drago Tail: A dragon tail equipped on his back, which helps him defend himself when attacked from behind.

Zombie Gamer Level X

"Buggle Up! Danger! Danger! (Genocide!) Death the Crisis! Dangerous Zombie! (Zombie Screech)"
―Transformation Announcement[src]
  • Height: 205.0cm
  • Weight: 115.5kg

Ability Perimeters (Level 10 → Level X):

  • Punching power: 24.1t → 66.6t
  • Kicking power: 30.2t → 73.0t
  • Maximum jump height: 52.0m → 63.2m (one leap)
  • Maximum running speed: 100m per 2.5s → 1.8s

Zombie Gamer Level X (ゾンビゲーマーレベルX Zonbi Gēmā Reberu Ten/Ekusu) is Genm's upgraded form, activated by inserting the Dangerous Zombie Gashat into the Buggle Driver and pressing the small red button next to the Gashat slot.

This form's original stats are superior to any forms provided by the first 10 Gashats, including Hunter Action Gamer Level 5's, and only loses to Ex-Aid's Robot Action Gamer Level 3 in terms of punching power. After collecting enough data on death by reviving 10 times, it becomes more powerful than even Level 50.

In this form, Genm's armor and helmet is reinforced with:[4]

  • Broken Goggles (ブロークンゴーグル Burōkun Gōguru): Genm's goggles that emit a special light to make an enemy's visual sensors malfunction and also induce hallucinations.
  • Deadly Jammer (デッドリージャマー Deddorī Jamā): A special device installed on Genm's helmet's white hair-like part. It stops the protection function incorporated in the enemy's Gamer Driver, which would automatically cancel a transformation to protect the damaged Rider. Genm can also control if the Deadly Jammer remains active or not if he wants to keep his enemies alive.
  • Face Guard Shackle (フェイスガードシャックル Feisu Gādo Shakkuru): It doesn't only regulate Genm's internal heat, but can also inject a high temperature steam to overheat his enemies.
  • Life Jail Armor (ライフジェイルアーマー Raifu Jeiru Aāmā): A white protector installed on Genm's right chest, which maintains the state when Genm's Rider Gauge's at 0.
  • Rider Gauge (ライダーゲージ Raidā Gēji): Genm's Rider Gauge is shown cracked and always at 0, which never changes even when taking battle damage.
  • Revenant Dischargers (レブナントディスチャージャー Rebunanto Disuchājā): Circular control devices attached to Genm's right shoulder and joint parts. It helps control Genm's output and can strengthen his physical ability beyond its limit.
  • Dangerous Breaker (デンジャラスブレイカー Denjarasu Bureikā): Genm's shoulder armor. It has spikes for protection, and can be used offensively to pierce the enemy's vital point with a charged spike and put them in a paralyzed state.

An extremely powerful form, this form's primary ability is immortality. Zombie Gamer can immediately recover from all but the greatest of attacks. Only Kamen Rider Para-DX Level 50 has managed to knock him out of his transformation. As a result of the "zombie" theme that dictates this form, Genm frequently exhibits bizarre, lumbering, and awkward mannerisms.

Though the Gashacon Bugvisor can be removed from the Bugster Buckle to absorb the debris of destroyed Bugsters, Genm does not seem to be able to use the Bugvisor as a weapon in this form. As such, he uses other Gashats in his possession to summon weapons, most prominently the Gashacon Sparrow from Giri Giri Chambara, but he has also been able to access the Gashacon Sword and Gashacon Magnum.

As described by Kuroto himself, "X" in this case refers not only 10, but also the unknown. Hence, by taking hits to purposely die and revive, Genm can continuously use the data of death to increase the power of Level X, allowing Genm's stats to skyrocket beyond the usual stats of "Level 10" and gain new abilities, such as creating data duplicates of himself and destroying the equipment of other Kamen Riders. Dan refers himself as Genm X while in this state.

Due to Ex-Aid Level 99's reprogramming ability, Genm eventually loses the immortality state of Level X, causing his Rider Gauge to refill and allowing it to be depleted normally just like any other ordinary Rider Gauge.

This form has seven finishers:

  • Buggle Driver finishers:
    • Critical End (クリティカルエンド Kuritikaru Endo): This finisher has two variations.
      • Genm flies into the air, spins backwards rapidly to become an effective saw, and flies into the target. Genm uses this version in episode 12 to defeat and kill Lazer.
      • Genm directly performs a flying side kick. He uses this version in episode 18 to kill Motors Bugster Level 5.
    • Critical Dead (クリティカルデッド Kuritikaru Deddo): Genm creates a horde of shadow zombies that close in on the enemy, beginning to flash red. After they get close enough, they turn fully red and explode into bursts of dark energy, causing a massive explosion.
      • A variation to this finisher is instead of creating a horde of shadow zombies, he creates a horde of himself as data clones that close in on the enemy, beginning to flash red. After they get close to the enemy enough, they enter the enemy's body, causing not only the enemy Rider to forcefully deactivate the transformation, but also destroying the enemy Rider's Gamer Driver, making it useless in the process.
  • Gashacon Sparrow finisher:
    • Giri Giri Critical Finish (ギリギリクリティカルフィニッシュ Giri Giri Kuritikaru Finisshu, Slash Slash Critical Finish)
      • Arrow: Genm shoots several arrows at enemies, before creating a massive amount of energy arrows that under his command (In this case, a kick), can impales the enemy in high speed.
      • Sickle: Genm delivers a powerful energy double slash to the enemy.
    • Bang Bang Critical Finish (バンバンクリティカルフィニッシュ Ban Ban Kuritikaru Finisshu)
      • Arrow: Genm delivers a powerful energy blast to the enemy.
      • Sickle:
    • DoReMiFa Critical Finish (ドレミファクリティカルフィニッシュ Doremifa Kuritikaru Finisshu)
      • Arrow: Genm delivers energy blasts shaped like treble clefs to attack the enemy.
      • Sickle:
    • Jet Critical Finish (ジェットクリティカルフィニッシュ Jetto Kuritikaru Finisshu)
      • Arrow: Genm delivers an energy blast shaped like a jet plane to attack the enemy.
      • Rider Slash:
  • Gashacon Sword and Gashacon Sparrow finisher:
    • Taddle Drago Knight Crtical Finish (タドルドラゴナイトクリティカルフィニッシュ Tadoru Dorago Naito Kuritikaru Finisshu)

This form's ending theme in entitled Wish in the dark.

Totema-genm

Kuroto Dan as Totema

This form is an upgrade form of Zombie Gamer Level X, and it is obtained by fusing with Totema's powers along with the despair of dead Kamen Riders. It acts as an embodiment of the despair that Genm gathered from dead Kamen Riders trapped in his "impossible" game.

Although this form's stats are currently unknown, it is shown to be very powerful, as he was able to single-handedly fight Ex-Aid Level 99, Lazer Level 3 and Another Agito at once.

Attacks:

  • Wings Beam: He can fire a purple beam from his wings, which is strong enough to even be on par and overpower a Rider Kick from Ex-Aid Level 99.

This form is exclusive to Kamen Sentai Gorider "Maze 3: Gorider Forever"

These forms are exclusively available to be simulated with Genm in the Level UP Rider Series toyline.
