Kamen Rider Snipe: Episode ZERO (仮面ライダースナイプ エピソードZERO, Kamen Raidā Sunaipu Episōdo Zero) is a four-episode Blu-Ray exclusive miniseries set within the continuity of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. The series depicts Taiga Hanaya's early history and how his journey as Kamen Rider Snipe contributed to his downfall from grace.

Synopsis[]
Taiga Hanaya, a man who was chosen to become a Kamen Rider before anyone else. Why did he become Kamen Rider Snipe? Why did he lose his doctor's license? What is the reason?
Continuity and Placement[]
This miniseries is a prequel to main series events.
- Episode 1 to 3 take place before the TV series.
- Episode 4 takes place just before the event in episode 1 of the TV series, following by the flashbacks throughout the TV series.
- The battle between Lazer and Genm featuring Snipe fighting a Zombie Gamer with Bang Bang Tank takes place during the events of Kamen Rider Genm vs. Lazer.

- This miniseries reuses the first opening sequence from the TV series, though some scenes with Ex-Aid have been replaced with Snipe.
- The TV-sized version of EXCITE has also been edited to use the second verse in place of the first verse.
The "Next time" screen.
- The "Next time" screen of this mini series has Ex-Aid, Brave and Snipe swap places.
- Each episode title is themed after a part of a gun or something involving guns, fitting Snipe's theme as a first person shooter themed Rider (Ex. Barrel and Trigger).
