Kivat-bat the 2nd (キバットバットⅡ世, Kibattobatto Nisei) is the 2nd generation of the Kivat-bat Family, and Kivat's father. As the King's partner, he infuses him with the power of Kiva. However, unlike his son, Kivat-bat the 2nd controls a lot more Demonic Power that enables Dark Kiva to fight at his utmost limit. Eventually, disgusted with his partner's methods, Kivat-bat the 2nd offers Otoya his power to become Dark Kiva.
Kivat-bat the 2nd later appears in present day to forge a pact with Taiga, making him the new Dark Kiva.
Personality
Unlike his son who is generally kind, friendly and goodhearted towards others, Kivat-bat the 2nd is often calm, quiet, merciless and arrogant like his former partner. He is also somewhat bloodthirsty as he revealed during Jiro, Ramon and Riki's confrontation with the Fangire King. He even questioned why his partner didn't kill Ramon. Even when he switched sides, Kivat-bat the 2nd was the one who suggested for Otoya to use his power when it would surely kill him. He does however, have a sense of honor as shown to his reaction when Otoya referred to him as the servant of the Fangire King. He also seemed to have an attachment to Maya which eventually led him to helping Otoya. He also easily accepted Kivat-bat the 3rd as his son from the future. When about 22 years had passed, Kivat-bat the 2nd decided to help Taiga when he saw how much sadness and sorrow Taiga had at the time, although it should be noted that he may have done it out of twisted reasons rather than pity.
Powers

Having strong Demonic Powers, Kivat-bat the 2nd can turn others into Dark Kiva. He is also quite strong and agile for his size.
Decade's Version

A.R. Version of Kivat-bat the 2nd who appeared in Nega World, unlike the previous one, is quieter and only appears when Otoya is going to change. Neither spoke much, but perhaps this is because his voice actor did not reprise his role and only used the sound effect "Gaburi" when it appeared. His partner in this world is Negative Otoya.
Kamen Rider Battride War
Kivat-bat the 2nd appears as a navigator in the video game Kamen Rider Battride War.
Notes
- While Kivat-bat the 2nd can add more demonic power than his son, it is unknown if he can borrow the strength of others to boost Dark Kiva's power.
- However, he can imprison other races in a similar manner.
