Tsuyoshi Kaijou (海城 剛, Kaijō Tsuyoshi^?) is Akarenger (アカレンジャー, Akarenjā^?, Red Ranger), leader of the Gorengers, the first Super Sentai team. Thusly, he is the first Sentai Red Ranger.

In Super Hero Taisen, AkaRenger is voiced by Tomokazu Seki (関 智一, Seki Tomokazu^?) in place of his original actor, Naoya Makoto.

Shigeru ArakiEdit

During the development of Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, which would become the other major 1975 Toei Tokusatsu production and the first Super Sentai series, the role of AkaRenger almost went to Shigeru Araki. Araki was originally given the offer of either playing AkaRenger of the protagonist of Kamen Rider Stronger, which was also in development. Araki ultimately went with Stronger due to the established nature of the Kamen Rider franchise at the time.
