The Aurora Curtain (オーロラカーテン, Ōrora Kāten)[1] is the primary mode of transformation used by multidimensional travelers.
Overview[]
The Aurora Curtains act as doorway between the many A.R. Worlds, often used by Tsukasa Kadoya, Daiki Kaito, and Narutaki to traverse across the multiverse, with almost little to no restriction in terms of space. So long as a curtain was activated by a user, anyone can pass through them. For example in Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen, Decade and GokaiRed sent their defeated victims through their own activated curtains. As the defeated heroes arrived in a safe diemnsional rift, the Decade and GokaiRed simply summoned another curtain to allow the heroes to return.
Due to overuse of the curtains during his early time as the leader of Dai-Shocker, Tsukasa suffered from amnesia, causing his powers to become unstable and start the Rider War where it began converging the many A.R. Worlds, with it being accelerated due to the existence of Decade himself. The worlds were restored after Tsukasa sacrificed himself in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider W & Decade: Movie War 2010. Tsukasa was resurrected due to his heroic acts during his amnesia period, allowing him to co-exist alongside the A.R. Worlds and travel between them without fear of world convergence or amnesia again.
It can also be used to travel through time.[Cho Kamen Rider Den-O & Decade Neo Generations: The Onigashima Warship][GO! GO! Ghost 2015] The curtains also grant its users protection from temporal alterations in their current dimension, allowing them to act as time capsules for the multiverse, should they somehow be affected.
The curtains were also technologically imitated through Houou Kaguya Quartz's creation of the Aurora Curtain System (オーロラカーテンシステム, Ōrora Kāten Shisutemu), a giant Decadriver-shaped machine that granted its inhabitants prosperity through travel between worlds.[Kamen Rider Gotchard VS Kamen Rider Legend]
